The architecture

Two layers. One foundation.

Search and agents are not two products stitched together. Both run on one model-serving layer, one index, one connector layer, one security model and one audit trail — so anything the foundation can find, an agent can reason over, under the same clearance and the same log.

Layer 01

Knowledge Foundation

Make everything your organisation knows findable and explainable

Continuously indexes documents, email, file shares, records archives and line-of-business systems. Answers questions with citations back to source, and never returns a document the person asking is not cleared to read.

Layer 02

Intelligence & Agent Layer

Agents that reason over that knowledge and act on it

Eight to ten specialised agents per organisation, each tuned to a function and each drawing on the same foundation and the same integrations. They analyse, draft, route and flag — and show you every step as they go.

When a seat cannot reach something

It explains itself.

An examiner opening connector administration does not get a dead end. AIOS names the surface, names the portals that own it, states what the current seat can reach instead, and explains the authorised access path.

In a live deployment the same refusal is a 403 and a denied verdict written to the audit trail — so a blocked attempt is evidence, not silence.

Sovereignty

Your data. Your deployment choices.

Most of what an institution knows is exactly the material it cannot let out of the building. AIOS is built for that constraint first — the deployment posture, the clearance model and the audit trail are part of the platform, not an enterprise add-on.

It runs where your data lives

Shared cloud, your own VPC, your own hardware, or fully air-gapped. The deployment posture is a setting, not a rewrite.

Plan your data boundary

Private deployment can keep retrieval, inference and logging within your network. Model serving, network controls and egress policy must be configured and validated for that environment.

Clearance is enforced, not suggested

Material above a user's tier is removed before ranking. The system does not excerpt or summarise what you cannot read.

Make review part of the rollout

Explore query, tool and policy records in the demo. Retention, integrity verification and SIEM forwarding must be validated against the actual deployment before relying on them for audit evidence.

Simulated workflow. No live data.

About this example

Sample records only. These animated steps do not provision services, enforce live policy or perform real operations.

The same gate runs before every retrieval and before every tool call. Material above the caller’s tier is removed before ranking — not excerpted, not summarised — and the verdict is written to the run trace either way, whether it allowed the step or refused it.

This animation uses fictional events, not live institutional activity. It illustrates how a reviewer can follow a source-backed draft. It is not a measured customer outcome or production audit evidence.
